Extra Class

Last Friday , our class teacher , Mr. Ng decide to let us have an extra class after school . This extra class is to help us catch up with the additional mathematic subject . All student in our class need to stay back , but even so , some disappeared in an instant after school ... lol

Before the school end , we discussed on where to have our lunch before coming back for the extra class . Yuan Tatt comes up with the idea of buying McDonald back for us since he got motor bike . He asked if anyone that wants , and collected money from them . (like a delivery man ! XD)

After that , Raymond also decide to go deliver Mcdonald back for us . I gave my money to him and told him my order ! Theres also many people asked for Raymond's help to take away for them , then Raymond seems confuse with all the order and took out a paper to jot down .

The bell rang , and the class is over . Theres 3 motor bike went to deliver Mcdonald back . That is Yuan Tatt , Raymond and Han Tatt with Ah Herh on one bike . Han Tatt have a few order with him too .

Don't know what took them so long . They came back after 30 minutes and bring back the delivery . We take what we suppose to take . Dare not take more bacause Yuan Tatt said :" Whoever that didn't order dare to take ... I'll beat him up ! " XD

Mr. Ng was already in the class , so we eat while Mr. Ng was teaching . He don't really mind because it's after school . I realized that more than half of the class was eating burger when Mr. Ng was teaching . (including me ! XD ) At the begining when I'm having my meal , I can barely pay any attention to what Mr. Ng was teaching , because I was enjoying my meal ! XD

The extra class end at 4 p.m. . Everyone went home , but not me . I need to rush back to my band practice . I skipped it because need to attend the extra class .
I went home at 6.30 p.m. after band .

Dragon Boat Physical Training

The past monday (16/2/09) , I stayed back at school in the afternoon for the dragon boat physical training . It was my first year joining the dragon boat club , and it's also my first time going to the traning , kinda excited that time , because i don't know what kind of traning will be carry out .

I finished my class at 2.05 p.m. . Then I met up with Leon and went to have our lunch at the canteen . After we finished our meal , we went to the place where the member should gather . Saw some old member there also , talking with each other . I sat down and wait for the training to start ...

The traning started at 2.30 p.m. We were asked to queue up in a straight line . And then do a squatting position (like when doing push up) , then move legs up and down . Right leg up and left leg down , then left leg up and right leg down . Do that for 80 times , then stand up , and we were told to jump up and down for 80 times somemore . After that , do push up for 40 times ... (its's continuously without resting ... )

After finished doing the push up , I can barely catch my breath . I just ate with full stomach that time and were told to do this kind of things continuously ... But finally , we had 3 minutes to rest .

The 3 minutes had gone , and the traning continued . The following one is scary , we were asked to do a 'starjump' (by jumping with hands and legs wide open then close , and then open again ) 200 times . By jumping twice (one time wide open then one time close ) , it only counted as ONE . Wah ... that one , my legs feels numb after that 'starjump' is over ...

2 minutes of rest before the training continue ... The following training is some arm exercise . By doing some movements with the wrist and fingers . Dont think its easy ... try to rise both of your hands up, and then hold and release your fist for 3 minutes and you'll know what i mean ...

Its sit-up afterwards . We did many style of sit-up . After sit-up for 40 times , push up 40 times again ... now that I know that training was even tougher than going to the gym ...

There are some more exercise after that , but i guess I'll end the traning and go into something more interesting ! XD When the training ended (at about 3.45p.m.) , I sat down resting and talking something stupid with Leon .

I will go home at 4.30 p.m. , talking nonsence with Leon and just waiting the time to past by . When we're on our way home walking on the school's front field .... we saw a RM 10 cash on the floor . Leon picked up the cash without a doubt , then said :" Oh my God ! Oh my God ! Oh my God ! Let's share , each of us keep RM 5 ! I dont have change now , remember to take it from me tomorrow ! "

And thats what happened that day ! A lucky day i suppose ! XD thats all ! meow~!!

8th-9th Day of Chinese New Year (年初八-九)

On the 9th day of CNY , its the birthday of the Jade Emperor (天公) . Its an important day for the Hokkien peoples ! We did preparations for the offering to the Jade Emperor on the day before .

We did the offering on 12 a.m. (exactly 9th day ) . The offering include : sugar cane (the most important one) , fruits and also roasted pig . But this year , we didn't offer roasted pig because my uncle didn't order . So sad . 'Gold paper' (kim chua ) is also very important for the offering .

This day were celebrated very grand especially in Penang , because most of the people in Penang are Hokkien !

At excact 12 a.m. , the sound of fire crakers can be hear everywhere , and the sky will covered with beautiful fire works !

2nd Day of Chinese New Year (年初二)

On the second day of CNY , just like the fisrt day , woke up quite early and then went to my grandmother's house again . That day another relative come . I don't quite know who are they (never seen them I think ... ) . But as long as I can get Ang Pow , I will be happy ! XD

So after they went back , we had our meal .

My uncle invited the lion dancer to come and dance that day , and we were waiting for them to come .

We watched TV while waiting for the lion dancer to come . They were suppose to come at 1pm , but they didn't . Its almost 2 pm when they arrived .

The whole neighbourhood invited the same group of lion dancer (4 houses including us) . They danced at our neighbour's houses first , and our house was the last .

I went to the belcony to take some photo when they danced in my neighbour's house .

And then , finally its our house turn . Well , they rested for a while before dancing in our house . I can understand that it's tiring to dance in 3 houses continuously ! XD And so , its finally started ! Can hear the drum sound very loudly .

First Day of Chinese New Year (年初一)

On 26 January , it was the first day of Chinese New Year . I woke up early (at least earlier than usual XD ) in the morning , clean myself up and put on new cloth ! Got my first 'Ang Pow' from my father . After that , my father drove us to my grandmother house . On the way there , there was not many car on the road (Batu Ferringhi) , not until we reached Air Itam , there was a huge traffic jam . It took us approximately an hour to reach our destination . Walked into my grandmother's house , and my uncles , aunts , cousins are all there . First off ! off corse is saying "Kiong Hi Huat Chai" to everyone , then take Ang Pow ! XD

First day of Chinese New Year must eat 'Mee Sua" (面线) . I had it as my breakfast . Woah ... at that time , i was very hungry already ... so ate quite a lot ...

We sit around the living room , watch TV and talking with each other .

At about 1 pm , after finished having our lunch at my grandmother's house , my father drove us to relative house (my mother's side) . Stayed there for the whole day and go back home at night .
